The treatment typically only takes between 30 – 45 minutes to complete.

Is a dermal filler treatment painful?

Most dermal filler patients experience no more than a temporary, mild discomfort during the treatment.

In some cases, depending on the area of the face to be treated, a local anaesthetic may be used, making the procedure more comfortable.

Following the treatment, some patients may experience temporary redness, swelling or sensitivity for a few days.

How long do the effects last?

The results of a dermal filler treatment are nearly always immediately noticeable following the treatment.

The visible effects can typically last from 6 to 9 months, depending on the area treated and your individual lips, skin and face.
